During October, Espacio de Culturas is hosting an exhibition of a selection of Jana Leo’s drawings from her book project “Mom is Dead, but We are Going to Cure Her” in recognition of National Domestic Violence Awareness Month. The Consúl General de España, Marta de Blas, will open the reception with some remarks. Jana will explain the project, which draws on detailed research that is documented as part of “An Archive of Uxoricides Madrid 1999-2020.” This program is supported by the Consulate General of Spain and the Hispanic Society Museum & Library in New York.
