Baci Studio and Somos Art House are pleased to invite you to ‘The Year of The Wood Snake’, a group exhibition about shedding new skins and self-reclamation.

Join us on opening night, Thursday, September 4th, at Baci Studio, in the heart of Dumbo, BrooklynStep into The Year of the Wood Snake — a group exhibition about shedding new skins and self-reclamation, curated by Miriam Arroyo of Somos Art House.

Through six chapters of transformation, audiences will move through installations alive with texture and movement, culminating in a live performance that embodies release and renewal.

A curated selection of fine artworks — sculptures, paintings, and mixed-media works — frames the dialogue of transformation, each piece shedding light on the themes of resilience, intuition, and becoming.

Evening Schedule:

A curatorial walkthrough introduces the six chapters of shedding and return, leading into a live performance of movement and sound, release, and transformation.

Enjoy free exploration of installations and artworks at your own rhythm, with space for quiet contemplation and heartfelt conversation.
