Here For The Art...of storytelling: Pop Up Exhibition

Published: January 29, 2025; Aithor: Julia Sonrisa

When: February 7, 2025

Here For The Art... of storytelling, will be gracing the space of Nine30 Gallery, a Black-owned Artspace in Clinton Hill Brooklyn for its inaugural residency scholarship.

Steven Eloiseau is a Haitian-American photographer whose work weaves together a vibrant tapestry of lived experiences. Raised in a single-parent household in Brooklyn, he grew up navigating the complexities of a challenging environment — experiences that profoundly shaped his perspective and creative voice. These formative moments now serve as the foundation of his artistry, driving him to capture the raw beauty, resilience, and depth of the human experience. His upcoming photo exhibition will bring to life the authentic emotions that define our shared stories.

In celebration of Black History Month, Nine30 Gallery is proud to announce the launch of its Residency Scholarship, in collaboration with artist Steven Eloiseau. Rooted in the belief that art and representation strengthen community bonds, Nine30 Gallery is committed to empowering young Black artists across all media. This initiative seeks to provide a platform for these talented creators, allowing them to showcase their work and share their voices with the world.
