Each piece delicately woven on her loom, represents God’s promises of His Shalom, and Tikvah. We hope that this art exhibit will be a reminder of our everyday blessings and the commitment to bring shalom to our neighbors and communities.
Her tapestries fall into two series that are inspired by views from her studio in Roxbury, NY, and, Scripture words and images. The Catskills-inspired tapestries highlight open skies, seasonal colors, and local streams, based on her plein-air sketches. The Scripture-based tapestries focus on images with one-word text to deepen the viewer’s understanding of who God is and what the Scripture says.
