Collective Ethos: N1 Mobile Art Exhibition — AI & Visual Storytelling

Published: September 19, 2024; Aithor: Julia Sonrisa

When: September 27, 2024

In October 2023, Collective Ethos, formed during the Synthetic Visions course at the International Center of Photography (ICP) under Alexey Yurenev, explored generative AI’s impact on photographic practice.

The artists redefine the relationships between technology, creativity, and social impact, extending AI’s use beyond a technological showcase to address storytelling, historical mediation, and social issues.

Each artist developed unique approaches, resulting in installations, films, and animations on memory, climate change, labor justice, and collective identity.

From September 27 to 29, the collective will transform a 26-foot moving truck outside ICP on Ludlow Street into a mobile art space.

Featured artists include Roshanak Elmendorf, Anastasiia Semerei, Sara Sepulcri, Alicia Tether, and Alexey Yurenev.

Location: 82 Ludlow St

Time: 5:00-9:30 pm EST
