This exhibition titled “Dance is his ideal” will include:
- “Trips Around the Sun” Live Performance: a dance and music piece that leverages cutting-edge technology that allows the artist to generate music directly from his body movements while using custom-made sounds and software instruments.
- Massive oil paintings (painted by foot). The landscapes of paint sculpted using the artist’s own body create a unique and visceral experience. Each painting engulfs the viewer and takes them on a journey of a deeply human nature.
- Thus Danced Zarathustra: is a multi-media art piece that is one-of-a-kind. In this piece, Moe X danced, painted, and created music simultaneously using his body as the brush and instrument. The music was generated using motion sensing technology that enabled the artist to create music via dance with custom sounds and software instruments that the artist designed.
