Storm Cuff’s “When Thunder and Lightning Sing” Solo Exhibition

Published: June 15, 2023; Aithor: Julia Sonrisa

When: June 21, 2023

When Thunder and Lightning Sing Exhibition is Storm Cuff’s first solo exhibition where she explores her artistry through ideas pertaining to blackness, childhood, identity, and love. By incorporating her early experiences with art in the world of performance, more specifically as a dancer, coupled with her exposure to more visual art forms, she discovers new layers of her identity. This expedition of artistic growth and discovery promotes the idea that art is not linear and that it can be explored in several ways. She has found a way to embrace various mediums and redefine the meaning of being an artist on her terms.

The Quiet Storm is her overall identity. It is the umbrella of all of the artistic work she produces.
