There will be light refreshments and the artist will share her critical insights and process for creation.
Revised Histories addresses the re-telling of history with its mistakes, inaccuracies, or details purposely left out. Viewing the space through a de-colonialist lens, Talasco’s use of pink erasers and bars of Ivory soap recontextualize the familiar in poetic ways.
