Stoops, Sirens, and Stickball brings the stories and streets of Sunset Park, Brooklyn, to life through art inspired by memory, place, and community.

Presented by Salon 787 Collective, Stoops, Sirens, and Stickball: Sunset Park is an exhibition written and curated by Tamavis D. Santiago that celebrates the everyday life, memories, and cultural history of Sunset Park, Brooklyn from the 1970s through the 1990s. Transforming neighborhood stories into an immersive experience, the exhibition features paintings and dioramas exploring community, play, resilience, and the evolving urban landscape.

Highlights include immersive dioramas of iconic Sunset Park locations by Luis “Inca” Ramos, Green-Wood-inspired paintings by Valeri Larko, and works by legendary New York artist Al Díaz. Through the work of Salon 787 Collective—a multidisciplinary community of artists spanning fine art, street art, muralism, and mixed media—the exhibition honors the people, places, and shared memories that continue to shape Brooklyn’s cultural identity.
