From June 5 to June 19, 2026, PicassoDefi Project, hosted at Sofy Gallery NYC, presents “Frequenze Urbane”, a solo exhibition by Italian artist Roberto Prandi.
Through fluid painting and acrylic resin techniques, Prandi creates dynamic, layered works that explore rhythm, energy, and the invisible connections of contemporary urban life.
Curated by PicassoDefi, the exhibition is part of an international platform connecting Italy and the United States through contemporary art.
Prandi developed an early passion for painting in childhood, cultivating over time a personal visual language that combines technical experimentation with strong visual depth. After completing his scientific studies and university degree, he continued to explore new pictorial approaches, focusing on color and the creation of volume.
These give rise to two key bodies of work:
Fluid Art and Interconnections, where matter and color interact to create dynamic, layered surfaces.
“Frequenze Urbane” is part of Sofy Gallery’s activation program as an international cultural hub. Curated by PicassoDefi, the project is conceived as a transnational critical platform between Italy and the United States—not merely as a geographical axis, but as a space for the production, circulation, and reinterpretation of contemporary art languages.
The exhibition text is written by Prof. Francesco Gallo Mazzeo.
Sofy Gallery, directed by Alfonso Masullo, hosts and supports the exhibition as a cultural infrastructure, fostering dialogue among artists, curators, and an international audience.
