Digital Accessibility Day 1: Basics — Recommended Supports

Published: June 30, 2022; Aithor: Julia Sonrisa

When: July 26, 2022
Where: SMART Showroom

Address: 28 West 44th St, Suite 704, New York, NY 10036, United States

As the world becomes increasingly digital, educators are using and creating more digital content.

A Professional Development trainer will walk you through the basics of Digital Accessibility. We will cover our recommended support tools that can help with digital accessibility such as screen readers, color contrast, alt text and so much more.

Sessions will consist of face-to-face training, application of discussed tools, opportunities to collaborate with other educators, and time to ask the trainer questions. Part of the session will be reserved for exploring Teq’s OTIS platform to show where additional webinar-style videos to complement the 3-hour session can be found. Those who complete the session will receive CTLE/Professional Development hours for state licensing requirements.
