Recording Studio Basics is a course series where teens can learn the basics of how to operate our recording studio. At the end of the series, teens are eligible to take the Recording Studio assessment, and when they pass, they will receive a Studio Card and be able to book time in our recording studios independently.
This is a 3-week in-person program, and registration is for all 3 sessions. All sessions take place on the lower level of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Library.
Please Note: You must attend all three classes and pass an assessment in order to receive a Recording Studio Access Studio Card. These courses primarily use Apple iMac computers. Teens are encouraged to bring their own flash drives or hard drives if they would like to keep their work from class.
Registration for this program will open at 4:30 pm on November 15. You can register in person or by phone. If the program is full, we will create a waitlist on the first day of the series (December 6). If a registrant is late or does not show up, teens on the waitlist will be admitted into the program on a first-come, first-served basis.
This program is made possible by the Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF).
