Dylan Hamme was introduced to national audiences at age 11 on NBC’s Today Show, performing alongside famed violinist Joshua Bell!
Now age 22, Dylan makes his Carnegie Hall debut on Sunday, Oct. 12 at 2 PM in Stern Auditorium, performing Tchaikovsky’s Violin Concerto with Maestro Constantine Kitsopoulos and the Senior Concert Orchestra of New York as winner of the 2025 Waldo Mayo Violin Competition.
Rising young violinist Dylan Hamme was the winner of The Juilliard School’s 2024 Ligeti Violin Concerto Competition and performed as soloist at Alice Tully Hall with Juilliard’s AXIOM Orchestra conducted by Jeffrey Milarsky. Currently, Dylan is pursuing his Master of Music degree at The Juilliard School as a student of Catherine Cho on a full tuition scholarship, after completing his bachelor’s degree at Juilliard under Areta Zhulla. Recent honors include his selection as the USA finalist (performance) of The Respighi Prize 2025, presented by the Chamber Orchestra of New York, and his upcoming participation as a semi-finalist in the 2025 Joseph Bologne International Violin Competition, which will take place in Guadeloupe during the Festival International de Musique Saint-Georges, November 18-22, 2025.
