This husband and wife acoustic duo are known for their well-crafted and award-winning songs, top-notch lead singing, and fine harmonies. The music of Twangtown Paramours is a sophisticated Americana, a hybrid of Nashville and Austin music scenes, with a virtuoso blend of guitar and vocals.

The duo is worth watching (and listening to) at their concert on Sunday, September 29 on the front lawn. Please bring your chairs or blanket. In case of rain, they will perform indoors on the main floor.

Twangtown Paramours consist of Mike T. Lewis, a graduate of Dwight Morrow High School, and MaryBeth Zamer, who are 3-time finalists in the Kerrville New Folk competition and winners of the Wildflower contest in Richardson, Texas. Their latest full-band album “Double Down on a Bad Thing” was #11 on the UK Indie Blues charts last year and #18 US RMR Contemporary Blues charts. MaryBeth has sung background vocals for the late Eva Cassidy, and Mike is a session musician, songwriter, and producer who wrote a #1 Platinum pop ballad in Korea and sometimes plays upright bass with Jimmie Dale Gilmore.
