Join us on Governors Island for a 45-minute chamber music concert in partnership with local farm and composting organization Earth Matter NY. The Glass Clouds Ensemble presents a program of classical music with world premieres inspired by Earth Matter’s environmental vision and beautiful landscape.
Following the concert, there will be a short tour of Earth Matter’s farm, with an introduction to their composting initiatives and complimentary treats!

The Glass Clouds Ensemble (Raina Arnett and Lauren Conroy, violins; Marisa Karchin, soprano) is a New York-based chamber music collective that performs dynamic concerts of classical works and new music, through immersive partnerships with composers and local environmental organizations. The Glass Clouds Ensemble is a recipient of a 2024 grant from Chamber Music America’s Artistic Projects program, funded through the generosity of The Howard Gilman Foundation.
