Mirta Soto is the Argentine artistic director of both the Philharmonic of the National Technological University of Avellaneda and the San Agustín Philharmonic. She has a degree in Symphony Orchestra Conducting from the Royal School of Music in London.
Ambassador of our country’s music for 30 years, she has performed in the main cities of the world, including New York, Washington, London, Rome, Belgrade, Lisbon, and in different communities in Central Europe such as Spain, Italy, Portugal, England, and Serbia. In Central America: Mexico, Colombia, and Ecuador. She will broadcast some symphonic tangos with her orchestra and will also present a live musical ensemble, which will take a tour of the traditional rhythms of the Argentine regions.
In Philharmonic orchestras, you can hear horn or oboe solos, which intertwine their melodies, differentiating their orchestration and sound from the classic tango formation, since it is possible to recognize the sound of each instrument.
In the live musical ensemble, Mirta will present some prominent professors from the University of the Arts of Zacatecas, Mexico. The guest professors are Cristina Pestana Alplizar; Miguel Hudson Montenegro; and Martha Hudson Pestana.
