Reflections: A Celebration of African-American Music: a chronological exploration of the legacy of black music in America. Black music is an integral thread to the history and future of American Music.

Local vocalist and bandleader Alexander Wright will be presenting a program of original arrangements of iconic works of African-American composers. Wright will be joined by his multi-talented band The Problematics, along with the sublime talents of celebrated jazz vocalist Georgia Heers and the up-and-coming powerhouse, vocalist Saniyyah Bamberg.

The concert will span many different musical genres and periods — so there is a little something for everyone to enjoy!
