Routing made her Stern Auditorium Carnegie Hall debut in March of 2020 to critical acclaim. She will be joined by our artistic director Monica Bauchwitz in Clara Schumann’s 3 Romances for Violin and Piano. Clara Schumann was one of the leading pianists of the 19th century as well as a wonderful composer. She was also married to Robert Schumann and a close friend of Johannes Brahms. Karl Kramer will perform his “5 Pages from Gerry’s Abridged World Atlas” — these are short “musical postcards” from 5 different international locations.
